About Bubba's BBQ and Catering

We are a family-owned and operated business. In our 26-foot rolling BBQ kitchen, we strive to serve the best BBQ and sides possible. This dream all began in 1998 on a Whitetail hunting trip to Texas. It was there I was introduced to the mesmerizing smells and tastes of real Texas BBQ. I bought my first smoker and started tinkering with Bubba’s creations.


In 2008, when the building industry crashed, I lost my job. To support my family, I took my passion for smoking meat in my backyard and turned it into a career. I bought a small trailer and, at a roadside stand, started selling Texas-style smoked brisket, ribs, and sausage. From there I helped open several successful BBQ restaurants locally, being named 2013 BBQ Person of the Year, winning several BBQ awards at competitions and mentoring lots of others who have had the same BBQ dream!


These experiences left me wanting to "do my own thing" using rubs and sauces, that I have perfected over the years, and locally sourced Hickory wood, we look forward to serving the best Texas-style BBQ in New Baltimore, Michigan… Bubba style.
